Grace, our seven year old Parson Russell, has been diabetic for three years. We had a hard time regulating her diabetes. It seemed all we did was react by increasing her insulin. My 12 year old diabetic dog is considered a "complicated case. " After 1 year of trying to regulate her diabetes (always in 200-400 range), I decided to try this. I read that it will take 2-4 weeks to really start seeing results. We just finished 2 weeks and my dog's glucose curves are finally flattening and in range!! Will continue and hope to reduce her insulin dosage. It's important to monitor your pet's blood sugar at home (it's too stressful at the vet) to accurately track, and to give it time as herbs take a while to stabilize internally (typically 1-3 months). With diabetic pets, only make 1 change every 7-10 days and then do a glucose curve at home before making more changes.

She is still with us! She is doing very well.

I haven't taken my cat to the vets yet, but she seems to take the supplement w/o any rejections. She gobbles her food down any problems. I took her glucose reading and was a little lower than before. My vet said if it doesn't lower her glucose it should make her feel better. She has an appointment the end of this month.

My dog has been diagnosed with diabetes. She started on blood sugar gold. Her symptoms of drinking +++ continued. A few days later she started on insulin once a day. She started drinking normally again and is slowly getting back to her normal self. Her insulin is quite a small dose and I think the blood sugar gold maybe assisting its effectiveness. I’ll keep going with it and hope that her blood sugar can be managed without having to have her insulin increased

My nearly 16 year old pup has been diagnosed with diabetes since Dec 2020. Last October he was diagnosed with Cushing's disease. While this is being maintained it was also stopping his current insulin from working properly. Normal range is 70-130. Before Cushing's diagnosis it was in the 600 range & then decreased to the 300 range in December but has been steadily climbing to 500 range. He was referred to an Internal Medicine Specialist which I opted out of. His insulin was increased substantially. However, we could not get those blood glucose numbers down. He was up to 14 units 2xd. I finally decided to look into holistic options & stumbled upon Sugar Gold online & consulted with his vet. This was the last straw before switching him from pet insulin to human insulin. Which is more expensive & can be more difficult to assign properly, especially since my little man is only 8 lbs.

I started the Sugar Gold on a Monday, he was tested that Tuesday in the 500 range. By the following Tuesday he was at 195 and last week he was at 93!!! The numbers just confirmed what I was already seeing in week 1; he had more energy, wasn't sleeping/laying around all day (his eyes were enucleated in Jan 2022 so sometimes you just don't know!), he barks again & has vivid dreams again & wants to play. He FEELS BETTER. I do as well. It was such a weight lifted off my shoulders that I wasn't even recognizing. I am BEYOND grateful for this product. Because next, sadly, were hospice options. It doesn't eliminate insulin altogether but in this case it made it so that the body absorbed properly. We are currently reducing his medications slowly to find the right balance. Couldn't recommend this enough.

*Only side effect to mention is first 24-48 hours his gas was bad. It passed though!

My vet told me not to use it

My Kepler 6 yrs old Miniature Schnauzer has Diabetes Mellitus. He went blind 4 days ago. I started using this due to Vets saying he is not regulated and thats why he is blind of Cataracts. This product has shown improvement so far.

My older corgi was immune compromised from a young copperhead bite he then recently got into a persimmons
They did not bother the other dogs
It put him into stage 2 diabetic

I am so happy with this products my cat no way that I give insulin shoots I found blood sugar gold twice a day for more than a year my cat still alive and ok thanks.

All of their liquid products work well. Our 16 year old standard poodle is still with us and he gets many products weekly including blood sugar which improves his energy and digestion.

Used it for 2 weeks, and when he had a blood check his glucose went up.

My dog, CoCo, started drinking a lot of water and urinating all of the time. I went to the vet and they tested her blood. The vet said that with her blood work, most people start their dogs on an insulin treatment plan. I told her that I wasn't going to be giving my dog 2 shots a day for 60 a month at her age. I came home and did some research. I learned that Dandelion root helped dogs like mine. Then I found this product. I ordered it and began giving it to CoCo. I waited 2 weeks before writing this review. Her water consumption has dropped and she is not urinating as often as she was. She still has a lot of energy and acts like her usual self. Initially, after visiting the vet, I thought that my little dog was on the downhill slide of life, but after using Blood Sugar Gold I think that she'll be healthy for a while. She is 12 1/2 years old and showing no signs of slowing down. I would recommend trying this product if your dog starts drinking a lot of water and showing signs of needing insulin injections.

My dog suffers from high blood sugar and it frequently fluctuates to high levels. His levels will go between 200 to even past 450 sometimes. Whenever the freestyle libre monitor tells my dogs levels are too high, I immediately give him his dose of the blood sugar gold product and it does down quite quickly within an hour. Although my dog doesn’t like the taste, it definitely keeps his health safe! I highly recommend this product!

I’m happy it works

My little Pomeranian has not had one episode of hypoglycaemia since starting Blood Sugar Gold. She loves the taste and is more lively and energetic, too!

My dog is been taking blood sugar gold for several weeks . His diabetes symptoms appear to be about the same .Good news he is has not declined. I am going to try it for a while longer.

These drops have a huge impact on my 14 year old diabetic Havaness she has stable weight energy good appetite. I ran out and my order got lost in the mail within 5 days Maggie became lethargic she started loosing weight but within a week of using the drops her appetite and energy returned.
If your dog is diabetic these drops are a must with the insulin

My nearly 14 year old eagle was diagnosed with Diabetes a month ago. He wasn’t eating my, was drinking lots of water and was confused. Anything he did eat, he threw up. The vets only option was t o inject him with insulin. I did some research McBryde and came up with Blood Sugar Gold. After 1 month he is eating again and not throwing up, he is drinking much less water and he is alert again! Wow! What a change. I am going to set him up for blood sugar test. I know it is far better. I your Blood Sugar Gold on his kebble topped with either 1 spoon of wet dog food or two tablespoons of progreso light chicken soup. I amazed he is so much better and relieved.
